AN EXTINGUISHED CANDLE

Every single organism in this world loses their loved ones be it their parents, sibling ,grandparents , friends whoever they be everyone has experienced this natural phenomenon and this is the bitter truth of life .And let me share my experience with you so that whoever is reading this blog they can at least console themselves. This incident took place in the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19 my maternal grandfather who always did'nt liked to share his problems with others and always wanted to have a happy and prosperous family.my grandfather married a beautiful 15 year old teenager when he 25 years old .My mom always tells us (i.e. sister and myself) about the time when my grandfather who was a tailor with a family consisting of his parents , wife and five children handed the whole family lovingly. Even if he had shortage of money he managed to teach his five kids ,medications of his parents , demands of his wife , daily supplies for home. My grandmother used to stich buttons in the meantime while my grandfather was like always busy with his profession. After a long time of work he would come to home at 11 o'clock in the night and woke up his eldest daughter(my mom) and asked her if she had completed her school work and asked questions and if she wasn't able to answer the question he would strike her with a sharp blow of a belt which was always handy for him  I don't know why he was so strict with a 12 year old but he was sure that these blows will one day result in huge success he would stay awake till midnight to teach his daughter and then go to sleep and I think that is why he complaints of backache. And today my mom that is the eldest of all is an software engineer, and her two sisters who are in banking and teaching profession and the other two boys a manager in a banking company and and youngest who is also a software engineer and no one has ever failed in their respective profession but unfortunately due to COVID-19 we have lost the rarest of the mineral on the the earth, my grandfather on 25 April 2021 and this was totally unexpected even today it seems to be that he has not left us still living in the house of  a small village. It is truly said that a man's importance cannot be recognised until and unless we lose he\she .And he meant a lot to us my family is still not able to cope up with this huge loss he will always live in our hearts I hope that this post will console or even prepare for the the loss that every human has to experience as once Buddha said that this is the universal truth and eveyone has to accept the loss should not destroy you till the extent that you will damage your own body instead pray for the lost one to attain peace after the universal cycle .
